As for longrod and postinsulators, we manufacture fittings made of hot-dip galvanized steel or aluminium. Our range of products includes socket caps, ball caps, clevis caps, y-clevis caps and various other caps acc. to IEC 60120 and ANSI C29.2 as well as per customer specification. All the fittings are produced in-house.
Production
Based on centuries of tradition of Mosdorfer in metal processing, high-grade fittings for overhead transmission lines, damping elements and components for optical fibres are manufactured at our production sites.
Up-to-date in-house production processes and production processes at our production partners’ secure quality - this is a pillar of our company’s success.
As for the production of forged components, we internally have toolmaking, many forging presses and a modern heat treatment facility. This enables short production times and rapid response to short-term orders.
The forged components will be finished in our mechanical department.
Protection of our parts from corrosion is provided by our galvanizing plant.
Training of apprentices and long-standing loyalty of our employees help to secure our know-how and form the basis for the future.
