The fascination of red-hot steel \u2013 the path to Mosdorfer<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Manuel came to Mosdorfer through a colleague. He has always been fascinated by working with red-hot steel \u2013 and his desire for a varied career was clear from an early age.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201eI wanted a job where I\u2019d never get bored\u201c<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fact that the company is also very close to where he lives made the decision easy: Mosdorfer was the right choice for him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Progression from apprentice to versatile production technician<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Manuel started as an apprentice and initially helped out in all areas. Step by step, he took on more responsibility and continued to develop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, he works in many production areas, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • the hardening area<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • the cutting<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • at the forging lines<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Very often Manuel works at the main forging lines and at the 400-tons forging press. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    What drives me in my job?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    Manuel appreciates the visible results of his work, particularly after completing major orders. ‘Working with red-hot steel is still something special for me,’ he says.. \u201eWorking with red-hot steel is still something special for me”, he says.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In addition he is very proud of finishing complex tasks, \u201e\u2026which cannot be completed by everybody, but which I carry out successfully.\u201c<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    My working day<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    Today Manuel works independently at a variety of orders. His tasks include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    • carrying out production orders independently<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • providing support on the main forging lines<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • assisting with the conversion of machinery<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • cooperation with experienced colleagues<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      His day-to-day work is characterised by responsibility and technical precision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Team spirit at Mosdorfer<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

      The working atmosphere within the team is particularly important to Manuel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \u201eWe help and support each other \u2013 and we also have fun at work.\u201c<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      For him, it is the combination of team spirit, sharing experiences and a sense of humour that makes his daily work particularly rewarding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
